A PROJECT BY THE WEST COAST ROSES

The Good Alarm was borne out of a gnawing need to do something. When the Black Lives Matter posts and press coverage began to dwindle we realized we needed a way to keep the conversations going. We developed a calendar notification system that would prompt folks to act in support of the BLM by donating, learning or getting actively involved. This system was designed for working people that wanted to support the movement but were limited in terms of time and means. By signing up, they could get a weekly gentle reminder sent to them, accompanied by links to any one of the three above actions.

We went live on the 3rd month anniversary of #BlackOutTuesday – September 2nd, 2020.
